Since 1993, we've been providing green automotive repairs. We were one of the first Boulder County businesses to invest in clean and renewable energy in the 1990s through the "Xcel Energy Windsource for Business" program.

Certifications

Independent Motors is also one of the first local businesses to join "Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE)" when it began in 1993.

We earned triple PACE Certification in 2018, becoming one of the first local vehicle repair centers in Boulder, CO to do so, with certifications in the following categories:

We Recycle Daily

• Cardboard and paper products (towels, tissue, pizza boxes, etc.)
• All plastics and glass including jugs (excluding those that contain oil)
• Coffee filters and grounds
• Used tires and oil filters
• Antifreeze – recycled on every coolant flush and drain and fill

We Purchase Environmentally Friendly Products

• Recycled paper, plastics, etc.
• Eco-friendly cleaning products
• Energy-efficient lighting

We Reduce Waste

• Buying in bulk (reduces packaging waste)
• Duplex printing and copying
